Fall has arrived and these local favorites are bringing their flair to the new fall menus restaurants are creating.
The 411
Never failing to put a surprisingly delicious spin on his fusion dishes, Chef Devert offers the “Cod Fish Almandine” in an exquisite beurre blanc sauce with grilled zucchini on the side and a “Blue Spicy Crab Dish” that is as delectable as it is beautiful—Cajun style and topped with edible orchids.
The Brickell seafood hotspot offers three unique seasonal dishes that are sure to leave you coming back for more — the “Wild Mushroom Crusted Grouper” with a parsnip puree and savory truffle-mushroom tea; “Fisherman’s Stew” with fresh shrimp, clams, mussels and snapper braised in a spicy tomato-nduja broth; and a “Root Vegetable Caesar” in an ethnic Bagna càuda dip.
Side note: IF you have not been here yet… Hurry. Up.
One of the most anticipated times of the year is soon returning to Monty’s Sunset — Stone Crab Season! Beginning October 15th, Monty’s Sunset will once again offer fresh Florida Stone Crabs that you can get half off at the raw bar during happy hour, or as a dinner dish on the normal menu.
For other fall seasonal delights, make sure to try the New England Lobster Roll—served hot — the Apple Cobbler a’la mode, and the traditional smashed potatoes.
