Food News: Segafredo is taking over Bayside

The Italians are coming to the Bayside Marketplace and adding a little more oomph to the Downtown Miami night life.

The 411

The good folks who brought you Segafredo L’Originale on Lincoln Road will be launching their latest project: Segafredo Bayside.

Luca Voltarel, co-owner and partner of both franchisees, along with Graziano Sbroggio of Graspa Group, and Mark Soyka, envision this new Bayside spot as an extension of its sister location in Miami Beach, but with a mainland twist.

What to expect

The new Bayside locale will be a state-of-the-art kiosk with a full self-contained kitchen and an expansive bar (because what’s a night out without a little liquid courage).

Love to dance? No prob. Segafredo Bayside will be playing all the best tunes as you and your friends enjoy your night.

So, how about the food?

It’s menu will be similar to its Miami Beach sister location and will carry Italian light fares (tapas, salads, paninis, and wraps).

Most dishes will incorporate a typically Italian ingredient such as prosciutto, speck, fresh burrata cheese and more. Fresh produce will carry through as well.

Final Thoughts

This bad boy is set to open September 2015 (next month for those of you who momentarily forgot what month you’re in).

I, for one, am happy that Segafredo will breathe new life into Bayside and will stop by (for the first time in years) to check out the new digs.

Happy Eats,

M
