Food Fighters is bringing the fight back for Season 2 with a special twist.
The 411:
Food Fighter’s comes back featuring an incredible line-up of celebrity chefs along with the introduction of kids as contestants for the first time.
In a series of compelling, tension-filled showdowns, a top-notch amateur home cook will face off one by one against five professional chefs from every corner of the world — armed only with recipes for their best signature dish!
The completed dishes will then be sampled in a blind taste test by culinary judges known as “The Dinner Party” (said to be a group of people who are not in the culinary industry).
After the two competing dishes (chef and home cook) are tested, the verdict determining the winner is given to the host.
If the home cook wins, they earn a cash prize. Any amateur cook who wins each of the five rounds will walk away with $100,000.
Worry not — even if the home cook doesn’t win, they still get to face off again against another culinary expert, climbing a money ladder with increasing cash prizes for every professional chef they knock out.
It’s the ultimate food fight, pitting amateur cooks against the most formidable culinary pros in America to see if they have what it takes to beat the very best.
The Host:
You may recognize this stud from “Man vs. Food,” “Man vs. Food Nation,” “Adam Richman’s Best Sandwich in America,” and “Fandemonium.” Keep an eye out for his new show “Man Finds Food,” in which he stars and produces, which premiered on April 1, on the Travel Channel.
In a press call held earlier in the month, Richman stated that he was most impressed by the way that the younger home cooks carried themselves in the heat of the competition as well as behind cameras.

My vote is with Danielle McNerney (12) and Troy Glass (14). But, I can’t wait to see what the home cooks bring to the mix and how the chefs handle the curve balls.
Chef Lorena Garcia mentioned in the press call that one of the hardest aspects of any cooking challenge is cooking with something you’ve never heard of before.
Don’t forget to tune in tonight on NBC at 8 PM EST and watch Jacqueline “Jacky” Herrera, an Orlando native, take on Chef Antonia Lofaso, of Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City (Los Angeles, CA).
